/// what do I do

Hi! I'm Lucy, otherwise known as Squam! I am many things, trained as a mechanical design engineer, but my best abilities are in making things and making things happen.

My background is technical, designing custom automation, and working with medical devices. Currently finishing my course in Innovation Design Engineering - a two year joint masters between Imperial College London, and the Royal College of Art!

As an Industrial Design Studentship Award holder, my masters is fully funded by the Royal Commission of the Exhibition of 1851.

For fun, I play sports - badminton and climbing (currently leading the RCA Climbing Society), and I love all sorts of craft, particularly origami and cosplay. Every day is a lesson!

Currently looking for opportunities as a design engineer, ideally within hardware (excelling at hands-on work). I am passionate about having impact, and work best in small teams - looking to join early stage startups who are looking to bring their concepts and processes to the physical world!

Highly motivated and well organised - an avid spreadsheet enjoyer.
